Approach has been awarded the development and roll-out of a large web-portal by our client, one of the leading leasing service providers in the world.
The portal will serve all needs of both internal and external users of their employees, agents and the equipment suppliers involved all over the world. The portal application will adapt to the various needs of each user in terms of language, distribution channel specifics, access rights, etc.
To efficiently implement the different functions of the portal, a sophisticated architecture will be deployed. The technology used will be Microsoft .NET (2.0) technology and associated toolkits.
A team of 15+ high-level developers is in place in order to drive this project to a successful end in approximately 2 years.
The Senior .NET Developer will join the Project Team to play a pivotal role in the design and development of the portal. He/she will work closely with the Architect / Team Leader and take responsibility for the delivery of the front-end aspects (User Interface). He/she will act as a reference person for ASP.NET and ATLAS-related technology matters.
Next to or after this project, the Senior .NET Developer will also take the lead on the Approach internal .NET development team, in charge of the further development of the Approach Expatriates Management application (also called “ATLAS”!). |
