1. Environment
The Competence Center Sharepoint is actually a team of around 20 persons
The technical environment is based on:
- Wintel 2003 + clustering (SQL)
- Novell eDir 8.8
- Sharepoint MOSS 2007
- .NET 3.0
- SQL Server 2005
- ESX
using Clearcase as Configuration management tool
The competence center covers all service and project activities as for the functional analysis than the solution design, the development and the deployment on several environments.
The service part is the most important as it is the part covering the current day to day business needs. |

3. Mission
Task & responsibilities
• Technical analysis according the customers methodology
• Technical consultancies in pre-project, project and/or phases
• follow complete methodology based on Prince2
The Administrator is responsible:
• to survey all the part involved in the good-working of the MOSS applications (servers, network, middleware…)
• of the technical validation in order to be usable for technical purpose (SSC)
• of specific technical tests specification
• Deployment of features and solutions in different environments
• Ensure the KIR (Keep it running) by the treatment of alerts and incident (third line)
• of specific technical monitoring specification
• to support / follow-up the designers
• to avoid performances loss or risk impacts from new solutions, developments or releases
The designer reports to:
• Domain Expert
• Architect or representative
• technical responsible of Sharepoint / .NET competence centers
