Job description

You will join the Network Computing Infrastructure Service Team of ASAP Europe. The mission of the Network Computing Infrastructure Service Team is to secure and improve the overall quality, efficiency and availability of the European network and datacenter infrastructure, ensuring reliable services, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and business value delivered to our customers.

The team is currently ensuring 2nd and 3rd level service delivery of our European customers across 20+ European countries. We are providing datacenter and network capacity for roughly 5,500 clients across Europe while ensuring IT service level management for strategic outsourcing agreements managed centrally in Belgium. The team currently encompasses ten IT specialists spread across Europe working as a remote team.

Job requirements

The desired candidate should have solid experience in IT/ IS and being able to demonstrate communication skills. An empathy of delivering services to end-customers is a must. You should be used to working in remote team.

Experience of a shared service provider environment would be an advantage. Experience in IT Project Management would be also an advantages.

Knowledge
We expect the successful candidate to have experience in most of the following areas:
- Windows 2000/ 2003 server
- Windows SQL Server
- Network design, both passive and active components
- Network management (LAN and WAN)
- Experience in a Citrix environment
- Cisco switches and routers
- Fundamentals of TCP/ IP
- Experience in operational monitoring is an advantage
- A certification in one or more areas is an advantage

Educational requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology or similar through experience.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must. Other languages are an asset.
