Ulysses Consulting is dynamic, ever-evolving, and fast-paced. The drive of a company is best measured by its captain. An example? An De Jonghe, Ulysses Consulting CEO and successful author of Headhunters: op zoek naar de witte raaf is writing a second book. That´s right: the storm after her well-received debut has yet to subside and the second book is already well under way.
The topic is totally different though. An´s second book focuses on the different social networks & online communities used around the world, be it social, professional or niche markets (mobile, video, ...). The aim is to map all types of social networks around the world and discuss their diversity, their different qualities, assets, flaws and shortcomings. Which networks do you prefer? Which communities are most active in your country? (no it can't only be MySpace). The book will consist of three parts:
- feedback from the founders of the respective networks - point of view from the `early adopters´ of technology in different countries - point of view of different users around the world
The most important part of this intellectual journey is of course your input. The input of the global community of people who are using these networks and make them what they are today.
So please take a minute to take part in the international survey (click to visit) and let us know what you think.
Networking has become indispensable in the world of professional business nowadays, and geographical boundaries are meant to be broken online. Discover what social networking is like in France, Vietnam, Japan or Australia, and learn how it can influence your own business.
